How to Create a Custom LUT in Photoshop for Your Videos in Final Cut Pro

Have you ever wondered how to create your own LUT for color grading your footage?

A LUT or Lookup Table is a wonderful little file that can alter the colors of our videos in amazingly different ways. LUT's can be used to confirm a flat log image to a neutral look or to create specific looks. In this tutorial, we teach you to create your own custom LUT's for Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Davinci and other video editors utilizing photoshop.

Now you can create custom LUT packs like Peter McKinnon!

How to Create the Dolly Zoom or Effect | Final Cut Pro X Tutorial

In this tutorial, I will show you how to create the Vertigo Effect, also known as the Dolly Zoom effect using Final Cut Pro X. Because we are using drone footage in this tutorial, we will spice it up by also adding rotation in Final Cut Pro.

If you are planning to use this effect it is aways better to utilize footage shot higher than 4K, as we will be utilizing the Kens Burns tool in FCPX.

Make Your Own Overhead Camera Rig!

If you’ve ever tried to film or photograph a top down or overhead shot, you realize that it can be difficult at times to set up those shots. I have built a stand that will cost you less than $50 for a dedicated overhead camera rig setup, which is just as strong and stable as some commercial rigs that are over four times the price!

After looking at various solutions this is the easiest, strongest and, most stable overhead camera rig I came up with to get that perfect top down video! So get those overhead shots like Peter McKinnon for a fraction of the price of a professional rig!
